On December 19, 2022, Department Head Prof. Lo and Programme Director Mr. Kay embarked on a significant visit to Hong Kong College of Technology (HKCT) with the aim of fostering and expanding potential academic collaboration opportunities. The visit encompassed a comprehensive tour of HKCT’s state-of-the-art facilities, with a particular focus on their renowned computer laboratory. This allowed Prof. Lo and Mr. Kay to gain valuable insights into the cutting-edge computer systems and hardware utilized by HKCT.
The primary objective of this visit was to establish a strong foundation for future cooperation and exchange between our respective institutions. Prof. Lo and Mr. Kay engaged in fruitful discussions with the faculty and staff at HKCT, exploring various avenues for partnership in research, curriculum development, and student exchange programs. Both parties expressed enthusiasm and a shared vision for enhancing educational opportunities and fostering academic excellence.
During the visit, Prof. Lo and Mr. Kay also had the opportunity to witness firsthand the dedication and expertise of HKCT’s faculty members, as well as the vibrant learning environment created for students.
