Professor Wai Lun Lo, Head of the Department of Information Science, chaired Panel 9 at the Artificial Intelligence and Education Academic Conference held at HKU SPACE Community College, Kowloon Bay, on 5 June 2026.
The Artificial Intelligence and Education Academic Conference is a significant event that gathers educators, researchers, and tech innovators to explore the integration of AI in modern education. The panel “From Concept to Classrooms – Live Demonstration of AI-Powered Learning Solutions”, focused on the use of AI tools in teaching and learning. It featured presentations by Mr. Denny Wong from AI-R Metaverse ROdyssey and Ms. Janice Ruan from LingoTask.
During the session, Prof. Lo introduced the speakers, facilitated the presentations, and moderated the discussion with participants.
