The Computer Science Department organized a VR workshop during Info Day to give students a basic understanding of Virtual Reality technology. The workshop introduced how VR can be used to quickly construct a virtual interior design environment. Students learned about the process of creating and visualizing interior spaces in VR, which allows users to explore designs in an immersive way. The session also provided a brief introduction to Unity which is a popular platform for VR development. Participants were guided through basic operations to create simple VR environments. The event offered students an experience with VR technology and showed how it can be applied in design and other fields. It served as an entry point for those interested in exploring this innovative technology.
