(April 2023) The seminar titled “Intellectual Property in Hong Kong” was conducted by Mr. Rex Fong, a guest speaker from the Intellectual Property Department of Hong Kong. Attended by approximately 50 students from CS, BIS, and the Faculty of Business, the seminar provided a comprehensive overview of intellectual property in Hong Kong.
During the seminar, Mr. Fong covered key topics such as patents, trademarks, designs, and copyrights, offering a general understanding of each concept. Students had the opportunity to gain insights into the importance of intellectual property protection and its relevance in various industries.
The seminar served as a valuable platform for students to expand their knowledge and awareness of intellectual property rights in Hong Kong. Mr. Fong’s expertise and engaging presentation style ensured that attendees gained a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
