The seminar titled “Anti-Corruption in IT Sectors” was led by Ms. Sharin Ho, the Community Relations Officer of ICAC’s Community Relations Department. With approximately 25 BIS and CS students in attendance, Ms. Ho discussed the various forms of corruption in the IT industry and emphasized the importance of integrity and ethical conduct. Real-life case studies were shared, fostering interactive discussions and raising awareness about the need for robust internal controls and reporting mechanisms. The seminar equipped students with valuable insights to navigate ethical challenges in their future IT careers.
