Our Head of Department, Prof. Lo Wai Lun is invited as the keynote speaker in the QO seminar: Planning and Scheduling of Faculty and Department meetings to align with College QA requirements.
The seminar underscored the critical role of strategic meeting planning as a key instrument for departments and faculties to ensure compliance with institutional standards. Prof. Lo guided participants through the process of aligning the scheduling and agenda setting of meetings with the College’s Quality Assurance (QA) requirements.
Prof. Lo also highlighted the significance of integrating stakeholder feedback and key committee discussions into the meeting framework. He provided a detailed overview of the core QA procedures for programme review, new programme development, and assessment endorsement. The seminar also addressed the systematic approach required to support academic quality through well-structured faculty and department meetings.
