Professor Liu Jiming, Associate Provost of Hong Kong Baptist University, recently visited our campus to explore our teaching facilities and laboratories. This visit provided a great opportunity to showcase the advanced learning environment and technical equipment available to our students and staff.
The tour began at the VR Lab. Staff introduced the CAVE system and demonstrated the Metaverse Tiger Balm Garden project. The visitors experienced firsthand how our virtual environment operates and how VR technology supports interactive learning.
Next, the group visited the Art Tech Lab. This session highlighted how digital projection technology blends with traditional cultural elements. The demonstration clearly showed the exciting possibilities of combining technology with art and education.
Beyond the specific laboratories, Professor Liu also toured other key campus areas. The group visited the campus library, the multimedia presentation area, the news broadcasting studio, and the desktop computer laboratory. These stops gave our guests a complete picture of our comprehensive campus resources.
