In September 2025, the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) hosted its “InnoVR Carnival – Virtual Reality Week,” showcasing cutting-edge innovations in VR, XR, AR, and Votanic. Representative from the CS Department attended the event, engaging in hands-on experiences such as the VR Cycling Tour, immersive 360-degree video showcases, and interactive AR mascot displays.
The CS delegate also joined the “10th VRC Anniversary VR Talk,” where industry and academic leaders shared insights on the latest trends and applications of extended reality (XR), asset management, and commercialisation strategies. The event provided an excellent platform for interdisciplinary exchange, sparking new ideas and potential collaborations in advanced technology fields.
