The Quality Office organized the Seminar on Preparation of Annual Report at Department and Faculty Levels, held in Room W612. The event featured Prof. Lo Wai Lun(Head of the Department of Computer Science) as the keynote speaker.
The seminar underscored the critical role of the Annual Report as a key instrument for departments and faculties to communicate their achievements and findings to the College Senior Management, with a focus on quality enhancement. Prof. Lo guide participants through the process of aligning the preparation of Annual Reports with the newly revised Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, titled “Annual Academic Monitoring at Department and Faculty Levels.”
Prof. Lo also highlighted the significance of the Annual Report in evaluating program effectiveness and driving continuous improvement. He provided a detailed overview of the objectives, QA procedures, and specific requirements for preparing Annual Reports that align with the strategic goals of the College. The seminar also addressed the systematic approach required for preparing, reviewing, and refining these reports to ensure they are evidence-based and incorporate feedback effectively.
