(Feb 2020) HKUSPACE Programme Promotion Talk – The CS dept. has organized an online Student Recruitment talk for the HKUSPACE High Diploma in CS/IT/Engineering students on 19 Feb 2020. In this talk, the CS Programme Director, Mr. Kay Chung Hok (Senior Lecturer, CS department) has explained the Programme Structure, Graduation Requirement, employment path of the graduate and credits exemption and students grant and scholarship for the HD/AD students. There were about 40 students attending the Zoom talk.

(Apr-May 2020) Online Zoom Conference for Secondary School students– The CS dept. has organized an online Zoom Conference for the secondary school students on 16 Apr 2020 and 14 May 2020. In these Zoom Conference, the Head of CS department, Prof. Wai Lun LO and the CS Programme Director, Mr. Kay Chung Hok (Senior Lecturer, CS department) have given a talk to the students, the talk covered the topics of current development of Information Technology and Computer Science, the typical structure of a Computer Science/ Information Technology degree programmes in Hong Kong and the career development in the CS/IT sector in Hong Kong. There were around 300 secondary school students and 8 teachers attending in the Zoom conference on 16 Apr 2020 and there were around 100 secondary school students attending the Zoom conference on 14 May 2020.
