One notable event was the 360 Online Recruitment Promotion, which aimed to promote our college and programs to high school students in Mainland China. This online platform provided an opportunity for students to learn about studying and living in Hong Kong, as well as engage with our department through presentations and Q&A sessions.

The Department of Computer Science actively participated in the 360 Online Recruitment Promotion, leveraging the power of digital platforms to reach out to Mainland China high school students. Through online presentations, we introduced our college, highlighted state-of-the-art facilities such as the VR Lab, provided insights into our curriculum, discussed internship programs, and much more.

Representing our department as the speaker during the online promotion was Mr. Ken Kay, the Programme Director of Bs(Hon) Computer Science and a senior lecturer in the Department of Computer Science. He effectively showcased the strengths and unique aspects of our programs, capturing the attention of the audience. By addressing their questions and concerns, we aimed to provide valuable information to prospective students and assist them in making informed decisions.

The online promotion proved to be highly successful, attracting a significant number of participants. Approximately 41,000 individuals, consisting of Mainland China high school students and their parents, actively engaged in the promotion. This impressive turnout demonstrates the growing interest in our college and programs, both locally and internationally.

Through the online platform, our department effectively highlighted the distinct features of our college and programs. We emphasized the advanced VR Lab, which provides students with hands-on experience in cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, we showcased our comprehensive curriculum, designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for a successful career in the field of computer science. The internship programs, which offer practical industry experience, were also a significant point of interest.
